In 2006, First Parish was recognized as a Welcoming Congregation by the Unitarian Universalist Association after completing a program to enhance our welcome of all people. Our congregation extends a warm welcome to Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender (BGLT) people and their families. The Welcoming Congregation Committee periodically brings speakers to worship services or special programs.
