Our Social Programs Committee hosts many different activities for the First Parish community. All members of the community are welcomed and encouraged to join us at these gatherings.The Parish participates in the monthly program of cluster dinners hosted by UU churches on the South Shore. These dinners are followed by lectures on a variety of topics. Check our Calendar for listings of upcoming events and programs.

Our Pot Luck Dinners are all inclusive and well attended. All are welcome and children's activities are often also planned so that the adults will have a chance to socialize.

Dinners are usually held on Saturdays by announcement, and have included themes such as a Hawaiian Night, Chocolate Night, and a Spelling Bee Championship. New ideas are always welcomed and everyone is encouraged to participate in the fun.

Movie Night is a relative newcomer to our social activity roster, and has by all accounts been a huge success.

Movie group members meet in the Sloop Room to see movies whose titles are chosen by popular vote. Movie Nights are held by announcement, and all are welcome to join in the viewing.
